Lasting Impressions.

Is your current advertising and marketing plan creating a long-lasting impression? Does it have people stopping in their tracks? Are people talking about it with their friends and on social media? With the unique Experiential Marketing created by the RE/MAX Carolinas Balloon Program, you can give a lift to your ability to capture new clients and retain your past clients.  Lasting impressions make you the first one they think of when it comes to real estate.

Finding a way to create a long-lasting impression in marketing is one of the hardest things to do. RE/MAX has done this in a big way with the largest fleet of hot air balloons in the world. The Carolinas Balloon Program takes this a step further by creating a variety of brand related promotions to fit most any type of event.

Hot Air Balloon Tethers

Picture
A hot air balloon tether represents the premium offering within our balloon program. The balloon remains securely anchored while ascending to heights between 25 and 40 feet, providing passengers with a flight experience lasting approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Tether operations typically last for up to two hours, during which time we normally have 60 to 100 individuals go up for a ride. For optimal safety and comfort, flights are scheduled during the first or last two hours of daylight, or into the evening when wind conditions are generally most favorable. When planning your tethered balloon event, please consider these recommended timeframes. Our fleet includes three RE/MAX Hot Air Balloons operating throughout the Carolinas.

Parades

Picture
Imagine…a hot air balloon basket, with the burners roaring, exciting the crowd as your RE/MAX float goes by. The crowd cheers for another burner blast to warm their cold hands and faces giving them a long-lasting impression. A cold air balloon on the back of the float shows off the RE/MAX colors. Your friends and family are on-board, riding through town, as the media cameras capture the moment for the news.  For over 20 years now, we have appeared in hundreds of parades in over 95 cities across the Carolinas creating long lasting impressions to parade watchers.

School Educational Programs
Picture
Having the RE/MAX balloon appear at a school is a great way to get involved and become a great community citizen.  We have three different types of appearances we do at schools.  The STEM Educational Program, Career Day and Tethers at school carnivals/festivals. Tethers are done as stated above, the other two are outlined below.

S.T.E.M. Balloon Educational Program - Did you know hot air balloons are the oldest form of manned flight in the world…They were the first aircraft to be used in war…They were the high-altitude testing platform for much of the NASA space program…If you didn’t, why not? Perhaps you didn’t learn it in school!  The award winning S.T.E.M. based RE/MAX balloon educational program provides you with a great opportunity to give back to the community and promote yourself or your office at the same time. When you book the RE/MAX hot air balloon to make an appearance at a school, we will inflate the balloon at the beginning of the school day. The kids are brought out just prior to the inflation to see a demonstration of the balloon. If weather permits, we can give a few adults a tether ride. We invite about 60 kids (3rd Grade and up) to help us pack up the balloon.  We then go inside to teach one or two lessons about ballooning. These lessons last about 20 to 40 minutes and cover the history of balloon flight, the science of how balloons work, and includes a demonstration with model hot air balloons. This also can be tied in to lessons on weather and flight that the students might be studying.

School Career Day Static Display – Career days at a school is a different type of promotion.   Unlike the STEM Educational program, where we are the main event at the school, career days involve many vendors with stations where the students spend 10-20 minutes per station where they are given career lessons by the people hosting the station.  Find out from the school what type of space we have to work with and we’ll come up with a plan for your station.

Static Displays
Picture
If you’re short on space, scheduling an event during the middle of the day, or dealing with bad weather that prevents flying a hot air balloon, you can still make a big impression by setting up a static display. The display features a 2½-story-tall RE/MAX cold air balloon that easily grabs attention. You can also place the hot air balloon basket nearby so visitors can check it out, hop inside, and snap a selfie. This setup creates great opportunities to share information and start meaningful conversations with potential clients. Plus, the pilot is available to answer any questions people may have about ballooning.

Wee/MAX the Radio Controlled Hot Air Balloon
Picture
Radio controlled hot air balloons represent a rapidly expanding segment within the broader field of ballooning. These scaled replicas of full-sized balloons are highly effective in attracting audience attention at events. Wee/MAX is available for event bookings. When space constraints prevent the use of a traditional hot air balloon, this model offers an excellent alternative.
